Android’s April 2023 Updates Patch Critical Remote Code Execution Vulnerabilities

This week saw the release of the April 2023 security updates for Android, which included fixes for two significant flaws that allowed remote code execution. Google released the April 2023 security updates for Android devices this past week. These updates include fixes for over 65 vulnerabilities, including two extremely serious problems that might result in remote code execution. (RCE).
The Framework and System components were fixed for 26 vulnerabilities as part of the 2023-04-01 security patch level, according to Google’s Android security bulletin for April 2023. The majority of these issues are of a high severity and can result in information exposure or privilege elevation (EoP).
