Apple patched critical flaws in macOS Monterey but not in Big Sur nor Catalina

Apple addressed two actively exploited vulnerabilities in macOS Monterey this week, but users of earlier supported versions of its desktop operating system are still vulnerable.
Fixes applied to macOS Monterey to address CVE-2022-22675 (AppleAVD problem) and CVE-2022-22674 (Intel Graphics Driver flaw) were still not expected to retain to macOS Big Sur or macOS Catalina.
