Apple Releases Security Updates to Patch Critical iOS and macOS Security Flaws

Apple fixed several security vulnerabilities on Monday by releasing security patches for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, watchOS, and the Safari web browser. The company also rolled back remedies for two newly discovered zero-days to earlier devices.
Updates for 12 security flaws in AVEVideoEncoder, ExtensionKit, Find My, ImageIO, Kernel, Safari Private Browsing, and WebKit are included in this release for iOS and iPadOS. On the other hand, macOS Sonoma 14.2 fixes 39 issues, including six that affect the ncurses library.
Among the vulnerabilities is CVE-2023-45866, a serious security hole in Bluetooth that might enable a hacker with access to privileged networks to fake a keyboard and insert keystrokes.
