Apples Safari Private Browsing Now Automatically Removes Tracking Parameters in URLs

With significant upgrades from Apple, Safari Private Browsing now offers users enhanced security from third-party trackers when they browse the internet. Advanced tracking and fingerprinting protections go even further to help prevent websites from using the latest techniques to track or identify a users device, the iPhone manufacturer claimed.
When not in use, Private Browsing is now locked, enabling users to continue using the device while still keeping tabs open. The privacy updates were showcased last week at Apples yearly Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). Later this year, customers should start receiving them as part of iOS 17, iPadOS 17, and macOS Sonoma.
