Asian Governments and Organizations Targeted in Latest Cyber Espionage Attacks

As part of an ongoing intelligence collecting effort that began in early 2021, a specific group of espionage hackers has targeted government and state-owned organisations in several Asian nations.
The Symantec Threat Hunter team, a division of Broadcom Software, noted this about the attacks: “A notable characteristic of these attacks is that the attackers used a wide range of legal software packages in order to install their malware payloads utilising a technique known as DLL side-loading.” Read More…
