AstraLocker ransomware decryptors released by Emsisoft

Free decryption tools for the AstraLocker and Yashma ransomware variants have been made available by malware defence expert Emsisoft. The ransomware’s creator, who purportedly stopped down operations to switch to cryptojacking, recently posted the decryptors to the VirusTotal virus analysis platform.
The AstraLocker decryptor and the Yashma decryptor are two of many decryptors that Emsisoft, a New Zealand-based company, has made freely available. Read More…
