Several high-severity vulnerabilities in several of AutomationDirect’s programmable logic controller and human-machine interface products have been addressed, according to the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s notification to enterprises.
A variety of industrial control solutions are offered by AutomationDirect, situated in Georgia. The corporation sells its products directly in the US and Canada, but it also uses foreign distributors to market the products to businesses in other parts of the world.The majority of these HMIs, which are exposed to the internet directly, appear to be located in the United States, according to a Shodan search.
