Chaes banking trojan hijacks Chrome with malicious extensions

Banking trojans that target the credentials of Brazilian e-banking users are being propagated via a large-scale operation including over 800 infected WordPress websites.
The malware utilised in this campaign is known as ‘Chaes,’ and it has been actively spreading since late 2021, according to Avast researchers.
