Cisco Business Routers Found Vulnerable to Critical Remote Hacking Flaws

On Wednesday, Cisco released patches to fix eight security flaws, three of which may be used as weapons by an unauthenticated attacker to acquire remote code execution or trigger a denial-of-service event on vulnerable devices.
Cisco Small Business RV160, RV260, RV340, and RV345 Series routers are affected by the most serious of the issues. The weakness, designated CVE-2022-20842, results from inadequate user input validation in the web-based administrative interface of the appliances. Read More…
