This week, Cisco released software upgrades for IOS and IOS XE that fix 12 vulnerabilities, including 10 high-severity security problems. As part of its semi-annual bundle fixes for networking software, which it distributes in March and September, Cisco fixed the problems.
Six vulnerabilities that potentially cause denial-of-service (DoS) scenarios have a CVSS score of 8.6, making them the most serious of the recently corrected problems.
