CISOs are making cybersecurity a business problem

According to ISG, U.S. businesses are attempting to make the greatest use of technologies and services to enhance company resilience as a response to the expanding cybersecurity threats. The U.S. security environment saw a substantial transformation in 2022, according to the research, with fewer but larger breaches and the federal government’s compliance regulations becoming more stringent.
In order to better guard themselves against the wider economic repercussions of breaches, such as harm to reputation and fines for noncompliance, many organisations started to strengthen visibility and risk management. The U.S. cybersecurity industry had a turbulent year, according to Doug Saylors, partner and co-leader of ISG Cybersecurity. Attacks got more intense and sophisticated, and corporations increased their efforts to counter and survive growing dangers.
