According to an updated governance handbook on cyber-risk oversight published on Wednesday, corporate boards play a significant role in reducing digital threats to critical services, but they need to work more closely with partners in the public and private sectors to further improve their operations’ cyber resilience.
The fourth edition of the Director’s Handbook on Cyber-Risk Oversight, published by the National Association of Corporate Directors and the Internet Security Alliance, outlines six core principles “for board oversight of cybersecurity.”
