Debian 12.5, the latest update in the Debian GNU/Linux 12 “Bookworm” series, has been released with 42 security updates, including fixes for glibc, openssh, chromium, and others, along with 68 bug fixes. The release features the latest Linux 6.1 LTS kernel and offers installation images for various hardware architectures. Existing Debian 12 users can upgrade using the command ‘sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade’.
