Drinik Malware Now Targets 18 Indian Banks

Targeting 18 Indian banks, a new enhanced version of the Drinik Android virus is taking the victims’ personal and bank account information. Since 2016, Drinik has been active in India and is used to steal SMS messages.
In order to steal potential victims’ tax identification numbers, Drinik poses as the Indian Income Tax Department and targets them at 18 Indian banks.
