Dropbox Breach Hackers Unauthorizedly Accessed 130 GitHub Source Code Repositories

Internal prototypes, tools and configuration files used by the security team, as well as our own copies of third-party libraries that were slightly altered for usage by Dropbox were all stored in these repositories, according to an advisory from the business.
Following the hack, “a few thousand names and email addresses belonging to Dropbox employees, present and past customers, sales leads, and vendors” were also made available, in addition to some API credentials used by Dropbox engineers. Read More…
