Experts Detail Multi-Million Dollar Licensing Model of Predator Spyware

According to a new investigation, the capacity of the sophisticated commercial spyware known as Predator to continue functioning after a reboot is provided as a “add-on feature” and is contingent upon the licensing options selected by the user.
Researchers from Cisco Talos Mike Gentile, Asheer Malhotra, and Vitor Ventura stated in a report provided with The Hacker News that “in 2021, Predator spyware couldn’t survive a reboot on the infected Android system (it had it on iOS).” “However, by April 2022, that capability was being offered to their customers.”
