WhatsApp said on Friday that it would not deactivate accounts of users who refuse to implement its revised privacy policy, which goes into effect on May 15, and that it will continue to prompt them to do so.
Although the updated privacy policy will take effect on 15th May, WhatsApp users will not lose full functionality if they do not approve it by May 15. Instead, it would use a ““consistent reminder”” to persuade users to approve the changes in exchange for ““restricted features.””
