Factors influencing IT security spending

According to Netrix Global, security executives will overwhelmingly want more AI solutions in 2023 to assist them in fending off the expanding environment of cybersecurity threats. Nearly five times as many respondents (22%) said they wanted to see more AI employed in cybersecurity this year than they did automation, which came in a distant second place, followed closely by threat detection, enhanced cloud security, and authentication techniques.
According to the Gartner Hype Cycle, AI is clearly beginning to mature, and in the near future, the cybersecurity sector should witness more inventive applications of the technology, according to Russell P. Reeder, CEO of Netrix Global. According to the report, only 38% of executives predicted that the impending recession will have a substantial impact on their IT security.
