Firefox, Chrome Updates Patch High-Severity Vulnerabilities

Mozilla and Google issued software updates for Firefox and Chrome this week that address a number of high-severity vulnerabilities, including memory safety flaws. Mozilla released Firefox 119 on Tuesday, which included updates for 11 vulnerabilities, including three of high severity.
According to Mozilla’s alert, the first of the issues, CVE-2023-5721, is an insufficient activation-delay fault that could result in the user mistakenly activating or dismissing browser prompts and dialogues, potentially permitting clickjacking.x000D The browser update also fixes multiple memory safety problems identified as CVE-2023-5730 and CVE-2023-5731, which might allow attackers to execute arbitrary code.
