FlixOnline poses as Netflix in order to steal data from WhatsApp conversations

A new type of Android malware has been discovered that promises free Netflix subscriptions to users. FlixOnline is a malware that masquerades as a legitimate Netflix application.
Due to the pandemic, the fraudulent app entices victims with the promise of a free two-month premium Netflix subscription. In reality, it’s the malware-infected app that’s spying on and monitoring WhatsApp users.
