GitHub enables two-factor authentication mechanism through iOS, Android app

This week, GitHub announced that all users will be able to use two-factor authentication through GitHub Mobile. GitHub Mobile 2FA will be available to all users in the App Store and Play Store, according to GitHub’s Berk Veral in a blog post.
With an experience that is fully baked within the GitHub services you already use, GitHub Mobile presents a strong alternative to existing one-time passcode solutions supplied by third-party apps and via SMS.
