Google Releases Pixel Patches for Critical Bugs

Google’s Pixel smartphone range has two serious security flaws that might result in privilege escalation and device takeover. According to Google’s Android security advisory, the Pixel issues, identified as CVE-2022-20231 and CVE-2022-20364, are present in the Trust and Kernel components, respectively.
All issues in this bulletin and all issues in the September 2022 Android Security Bulletin are addressed for Google devices with security patch versions of 2022-09-05 or later, according to Google’s Pixel patch alert. Read More…
