Google Patches Critical Android Bluetooth Flaw in August Security Bulletin

On Monday, Google released the most recent Android security updates in its monthly security bulletin for August. A total of 37 vulnerabilities have been fixed, including a serious security hole in the System component that might allow for remote code execution through Bluetooth without the need for elevated privileges.
On Android 10, 11, 12, and 12L, a patch has been released to address the Bluetooth vulnerability, tracked as CVE-2022-20345. High severity ratings were given to the remaining problems that Google patched in its security bulletin for August because several of them might result in privilege escalation or information exposure.
