Despite the common misconception that cloud infrastructure is impenetrable to cyberattacks, hackers are swiftly discovering vulnerabilities in it. While it is much more difficult for hackers to access an organization’s cloud services, moving the data came at a steep cost.
In recent years, businesses have spent billions of dollars transferring their digital data from conventional, on-premise enterprise storage solutions to the cloud. This year, it’s anticipated that investment would increase further and approach $600 billion.
