Hackers Breach Oktas GitHub Repositories, Steal Source Code

The identity and access management service provider Okta revealed on Wednesday that unauthorised access had been made to some of its source code repositories earlier this month. The corporation stated in a public statement that “there is no harm to any clients, including any HIPAA, FedRAMP, or DoD customers.” “Customers need not take any action.”
The Okta Workforce Identity Cloud (WIC) source repositories, which are housed on GitHub, were compromised during the security incident, which was initially disclosed by Bleeping Computer. After then, the access was misused to copy the source code.
