Juniper Networks, a manufacturer of networking equipment, issued software patches on Wednesday that fix numerous critical flaws in Junos OS, Junos OS Evolved, and Junos Space. The business released 17 advisories describing nearly three times as many security flaws in third-party components used in its products as well as about a dozen Junos OS-specific security flaws.
Three of the latest advisories discuss critical vulnerabilities in Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved that could cause a DoS. The networking appliances of the QFX10000, MX, and SRX series are affected. Eight other warnings cover issues in Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved with a medium severity that might also be used to create DoS conditions.
