Malicious ChatGPT & Google Bard Installers Distribute RedLine Stealer

Beware of hacked Facebook business sites that advertise phoney and malicious installers for ChatGPT and Google Bard AI chatbots. In order to promote downloads of ChatGPT and Google Bard AI, which in reality transmit RedLine Stealer malware, cybercriminals are hijacking Facebook sites and using sponsored postings.
A research from security automation startup Veriti claims that threat actors are seeking to use the popularity of Google Bard and OpenAI’s ChatGPT chatbots to spread malware and steal personal information. These initiatives highlight the dangers posed by platforms that use generative AI.
