Microsoft Details App Sandbox Escape Bug Impacting Apple iOS, iPadOS, macOS Devices

On Wednesday, Microsoft revealed a security flaw in Apple’s operating systems that has since been patched and which, if successfully exploited, could give attackers elevated device access and the ability to install malware.
According to Jonathan Bar Or of the Microsoft 365 Defender Research Team, “An attacker might take advantage of this sandbox escape vulnerability to get elevated capabilities on the compromised device or execute malicious actions like installing additional payloads.” Read More…
