Microsoft Edge Adds Security Mode to Thwart Malware Attacks

Microsoft is positioning Edge’s new security mode as an additional layer of protection for Windows, macOS, and Linux computers, with aim of minimizing unforeseen attacks based on historical trends.
According to a Microsoft document, when facilitated, the component enhances customer security on the Internet by utilising Hardwareenforced Stack Protection, Arbitrary Code Guard (ACG), and Content Flow Guard (CFG).
