Vulnerable Security researchers are warning that FARGO ransomware is being used in a new wave of attacks that target Microsoft SQL servers. Database management systems called MS-SQL servers store data for online services and applications. It might be really problematic for business to disturb them.
Similar attacks, dropping Cobalt Strike beacons, were discovered by BleepingComputer in February and in July, when threat actors hacked weak MS-SQL servers to syphon off bandwidth for proxy services. Read More…
