Nearly 150K impacted by Kansas court system hack

Around 150,000 individuals may have had their personal data compromised in a ransomware attack on Kansas’ court system, causing months of disruption to the case management system. The attack may have exposed Social Security numbers, ID cards, driver’s licenses, tax IDs, payment details, insurance policies and passports. The affected individuals will be notified only through physical mail and are advised to initiate phone calls themselves.
