Around 20 million Android users were proven to have been affected by recently discovered malware. Using 16 different malicious applications, the spyware, known as Clicker, was secretly introduced into the Google Play Store. McAfee researchers revealed that the malware targets Android phone users by disguising itself as a legitimate utility tool.
These utilities include Task Managers, Cameras, Unit Converters, QR Readers, and Flashlights (Torch). These applications could appear to be well-made Android software at first glance.
