Fleckpe, which joins the ranks of other nefarious Android malware like Jocker and Harly, is the newest addition to the category of malware that creates unauthorised charges by enrolling users in premium services, according to Kaspersky.
Threat actors profit from illegal memberships by splitting the monthly or one-time subscription revenues collected by the premium services. When the services are run by threat actors, they keep all of the money.
