New Windows Event Log zero-day flaw gets unofficial patches

Free unofficial patches are available for a new Windows zero-day flaw dubbed EventLogCrasher that lets attackers remotely crash the Event Log service on devices within the same Windows domain. This zero-day vulnerability affects all versions of Windows, from Windows 7 up to the latest Windows 11 and from Server 2008 R2 to Server 2022.
