An experimental approach being proposed by security experts offers increased anonymity for DNS, the internet’s version of a phone book. Oblivious DNS-over-HTTPS is the name of a technology that enables clients to use proxies to transmit encrypted DNS-over-HTTPS communications while concealing their IP addresses from DNS resolvers.
