According to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, in October, the online marketplace Carousell disclosed a security compromise impacting 2.6 million customers worldwide. According to a watchdog, the company was served with an enforcement notice to guarantee that the matter is rectified and that it doesn’t happen again, affecting around 320,000 people locally.
