QNAP, a maker of networkattached storage (NAS), is looking into and developing security patches to address the remote code execution (RCE) and denialofservice (DoS) flaws patched by OpenSSL last week.
If successfully exploited, the flaws allow remote attackers to obtain unauthorised access to memory data, cause denialofservice (DoS) conditions, or run arbitrary code with the rights of the user running the HBS 3 application.
