Researchers Uncover New European Malware-as-a-Service Group

FusionCore, a new cybercrime organization, is probably run by a group of English-speaking European teens with a variety of abilities and understanding of Greek and Roman mythology. In the second half of 2022, FusionCore changed into a malware-as-a-service organisation as a result of an increase in demand for the info-stealing software its creator, who goes by the handle “Hydra,” saw, according to Cyfirma.

According to security firm Cyfirma, which discovered the group’s actions, FusionCore has been operating since November and serves as a “one-stop shop” for threat actors, providing services including malware-as-a-subscription, hacking for hire, and ransomware. The group also developed AnthraXXXLocker, a distinct ransomware affiliate programme.
