Samsung Phone Flaws Added to CISA ‘Must Patch’ List Likely Exploited by Spyware Vendor

Six holes in Samsung mobile devices have been added by CISA to its list of known exploited vulnerabilities, and a spyware vendor is probably responsible for their exploitation. Eight new vulnerabilities, including two D-Link router and access point flaws used by a Mirai botnet variant, were uploaded to CISA’s database on Thursday. The remaining six security flaws, which affect Samsung mobile devices, were all fixed by the industry titan in 2021.
Six holes affecting Samsung devices have been added by the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalogue, and all of them were probably used by a commercial spyware vendor.
