Security experts urge agencies to test post-quantum cryptography algorithms now

Before a federally mandated shift, agencies should evaluate post-quantum cryptography algorithms with their software and determine whether information security advantages justify the efficiency costs.
Agencies will be better able to analyse the effects of the proposed algorithms from the National Institute of Standards and Technology, some of which will be standardised, and create the necessary plans determining where to deploy them first by conducting experiments with them. Read More…
