IoT vendor Sierra Wireless suffers ransomware attack production halted

Sierra Wireless, a provider of Internet of Things (IoT) products, revealed last week (March 20) that it had been the target of a ransomware attack that had interrupted operations.
The wireless communications equipment manufacturer acknowledged a cyber-attack on its internal IT networks, but refused to comment on the ransom demand.
