This week, when the Big 3 cloud infrastructure providers�Amazon, Microsoft, and Google�reported their earnings, it was abundantly evident that the cloud was contributing to their continued growth. But perhaps most surprisingly, Synergy Research data showed that after years of holding a 33 percent market share, AWS increased slightly to 34 percent in the second quarter.
Even more shocking is that Microsoft’s market share dropped from 22% last quarter to 21% this quarter, following years of consistent increase. With a consistent percentage of roughly 10%, Google came in third. Read More…
