Cobalt launches dynamic application security testing scanner

Cobalt has launched a dynamic application security testing (DAST) scanner designed to continuously test web applications and APIs for security. This is helped by the integration with Cobalt’s pentest-as-a-service platform. The DAST scanner promises to identify vulnerabilities that might get introduced in between manual pen tests. It enables the creation of detailed reports that prioritize vulnerabilities for remediation and aid in compliance with regulatory requirements. DAST can be integrated into the software development lifecycle and DevOps pipelines.
