According to Wasabi, media and entertainment (M&E) organisations are increasingly using cloud storage to improve their security protocols. According to survey results, public cloud storage use is growing, with 89% of respondents looking to increase (74%) or maintain (15%) their cloud services, even though M&E organisations are still relatively new to cloud storage (69% of respondents had been using cloud storage for three years or less).
According to M&E respondents, public cloud storage services receive an average allocation of 13.9% of their IT expenditures. However, price overruns brought on by hidden costs, coupled with worries about cybersecurity and data loss, continue to be issues for M&E firms. “One of the important verticals for cloud storage services is the media and entertainment sector.
