Two new versions of OpenZFS fix long-hidden corruption bug

The OpenZFS 2.2.0 release contains a patch for the fault that was occasionally corrupting data on file copies, and it has also been detected and resolved for the previous OpenZFS version. This was required since, as we mentioned a week ago, OpenZFS 2.2.0 was the one that revealed and illuminated the problem.
Two new editions of the open-source, cross-platform filesystem for Linux and FreeBSD have been released by the OpenZFS development team. The most recent version, 2.2.2, resolves the issue that was present in FreeBSD 14 and certain Linux distributions, such as Ubuntu 23.10. Additionally, a new release (2.1.14) for OpenZFS’s prior iteration is available for FreeBSD versions up to 12.
