Ubiquiti fixes glitch that exposed private video streams to other customers

The networking and security camera manufacturer Ubiquity has resolved an issue that some users said gave them unintentional access to other users’ accounts and private live video streams.
First rumors surfaced on Reddit that some users were receiving push alerts on their phones with information about their Ubiquiti accounts and private video streams that belonged to other users. Someone else reported that when they went into their Ubiquiti account, they saw another customer’s account information. Ubiquiti is a technology and cloud firm that manufactures devices for security, video surveillance, routers, and network switches that can be managed and controlled remotely via its centralized cloud service.
