Vulnerability Spotlight Callback Technologies CBFS Filter denial-of-service vulnerabilities

Three denial-of-service flaws have been been found by Cisco Talos in the CBFS Filter from Callback Technologies. Denial of service can result from an I/O request packet that has been specially designed. To exploit these flaws, an attacker only needs to issue an ioctl.
For use in adjusting data persistence on devices, Callback Technologies offers the CBFS file storage solution. Their CBFS Filter oversees this file storage solution and enables customers to define filter and access rules, edit and encrypt data, among other things.
