According to a statement from the Meta-owned company, mobile device malware is one of the biggest hazards to people’s security and privacy today because it may utilise your phone without your knowledge and use WhatsApp to send unsolicited messages.
Device Verification is a security solution that blocks the threat actor’s connection while preserving uninterrupted app use for the targets of the malware infection. It is intended to assist avoid account takeover attacks. Device Verification has been made available to all Android users, according to WhatsApp, and it is now being made available to iOS users as well.
