Powerhouse in the field of video messaging Zoom has released a high-priority patch for macOS users along with a warning that hackers may use the vulnerability to login to and take control of Zoom Apps.
The vulnerability, which has a CVSS severity rating of 7.3/10, is described as an open debugging port caused by the Zoom client on macOS devices. The bug, designated CVE-2022-28762, affects Zoom Client for Meetings for macOS versions 5.10.6 and earlier but not 5.12.0.
