Dell disclosed a security breach that exposed millions of customers’ names and physical mailing addresses.

Dell Technologies has recently notified millions of its customers about a database breach. As per the notification, the breach resulted in the theft of data such as full names, physical addresses, hardware details, and order information. However, no financial data was compromised in the breach. Dell has yet to file a breach notice with the SEC. The computer maker has started sending data breach notifications to its customers, stating that a Dell portal containing customer information related to purchases was breached. This breach was carried out by a threat actor who claims to have stolen information for approximately 49 million customers.
